Bashful My name is Bashful and I have come such a long way. I was a wild kitty but I have warmed up to some of the volunteers and can be petted now... I love it. I arch my little back for me to get scratched and I will talk to you the whole time. I really would like to spend the rest of my life in a loving home with lots of toys and lots of love. How You Can Help:

The Salem County Humane Society is a no kill shelter operating strictly by donations and fundraisers; we never discriminate on the basis of health or age, and take in the abused, unwanted and abandoned companion animals that other human beings have forgotten. If you would like to help our shelter, please read our "Ways you can help" page. If you would like to make a donation, please click on the button below. If you prefer sending a check, you can send it to the mailing address on the right hand side.

Donate a Bed We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed to help one of our dogs, please click here.

Please note that we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and that your donations are tax deductible.
