Please Consider Donating To Help Lady!

    Lady

Lady is a sweet 4 year old blue pit bull that was surrendered by her owner to another shelter. She was in need of immediate medical attention for a huge mass at the base of her tail which burst and had to be extremely painful to her. Several pleas were sent out to rescue organizations to pull Lady to no avail. On 4/22, we pulled Lady in her final hour just before being euthanized. On 4/30, the biopsy results on Lady's tail after amputation showed mass cell cancer. We will treat Lady with the medications the vet recommends and he will monitor her every few weeks to make sure no other growths appear on her body. With treatment and as long as no other cancerous growths appear over the next 2 months, Lady's chances of living a full life are very good. A huge thank you to all of you who donated to help us with Lady's surgery.

Since we are a private, non-profit organization that operates solely by volunteers and donations, we are appealing to you for donations to help with Lady's surgical expenses which is approximately $1,500. No donation is too small and will be greatly appreciated. Donations can be made through PayPal or by credit card on our website at www.salemcountyhumanesociety.org, on our Facebook page through the Razoo account or by check payable to the Salem County Humane Society, on the memo line write 'Donation for Lady' and mail to Salem County Humane Society, PO Box 214, North Game Creek Road, Carneys Point, NJ 08069. Cash donations will be accepted when the shelter is open.

A huge thank you for donating to Lady's Fund from all of us at the shelter and especially from Lady!

    Little Max
Little Max and Ruby are two-year-old siblings. They were surrendered because their owner did not have enough time for them, and they were being left alone for long periods of time. Little Max and Ruby have never been apart; it would be wonderful if they could be adopted together./p>
