    Pets of the Month

    Max
Max is a very large, very friendly guy that was brought to the shelter because his owner had to move into an assisted living arrangement. He's a Yellow lab/Akita mix, 6 years old. He is also good with cats. Max loves to play tug-of-war.

Would you care to adopt Max? Please contact the Salem County Humane Society, phone 856-299-2220

Miss Fancy This is Miss Fancy. She's a silver-grey girl with paws and a tail that look as though she dipped them in white paint! Her endearing eyes reflect her sweet personality. Miss Fancy was a young kitten when she was dumped on the shelter's grounds with other cats. The other cats were easily caught, but Miss Fancy had to be trapped in order to get her - she was very afraid of people. Her favorite pastimes are window-watching and snuggling in her basket. Miss Fancy is cat-friendly, affectionate and playful. Miss Fancy looks forward to the visitors who come into the shelter, hoping someone may soon give her a forever home.
