Dog of the Month
Trooper was rescued from a situation where he was not being looked after adequately; this resulted in his being hit by a car! He came to us with a fractured pelvis. Despite this, he is a happy sweet little guy. Trooper is house trained, and would do well in a home with another dog. He is currently in a foster home; if you would like to meet Trooper, contact us at the shelter.
Cat of the Month
Lady and Manny are a bonded pair of cats that became homeless when their owner passed away. No one in the family wanted the cats and they were surrendered to a high kill shelter where they remained for almost 2 months and became staff favorites there. After seeing how much they adore each other, we brought the cats to our shelter in hopes of finding them a home together; however, they can be separated. These two cats are longing for a home to call their own again. Please come out and meet Lady and Manny and you'll fall in love with them.
To adopt a dog or cat from us, we have procedures in place to ensure our animals are going to a good home. The first step is to visit the shelter and see if any of the animals seem to fit your personality and lifestyle. The second step is to fill out an application. Click on the arrow below to get the applications and read the rest of the procedures.
